Balekambang, The Beach With 3 Islands

If you happened to be in Malang city either for business purposes or other purposes, It never hurts to take a moment of your spare time to visit Balekambang beach in the southern of the city.
The white sand and coral buffeted by the waves is the main attraction of a tourist beach. Rumbling sound of waves suggests the existence of a life under the sea. Like those found on the beach Balekambang, one of the beach tourism icon in the Malang districts.
Since opened to the public in 1985, Balekambang became one of the most favorite destination for domestic tourists.

There are three islands in the area around Balekambang. The island Wisanggeni, Hanuman, and the island Ismoyo where the temple is located. But only Wisanggeni and Ismoyo can be visited. The Hanuman island is inaccessible because of its distance from the beach. However, the presence of the island completes the charm of the 10.6 hectares tourist area in Balekambang.

To go to Balekambang, there are two option paths that can be taken. The first through the PAGAK. This pathway can be taken from the center of the malang city for about 69 km. The second path is through BANTUR, with only 65 km. The road conditions of the two were both paved, though there are still few damages on some part of the roads.

But it’s worth the long way. Certainly everything will be satisfied upon arrival at Balekambang. The beauty and elegance of this miniature of Kuta Bali can always hypnotize the people who visit it, leaving nothing but admiration, and a promise to return someday.
